A WARM WELCOME FROM THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE

Modern representations of yoga may leave you feeling that you are not flexible, strong, fit, or young enough to try a class, but that simply isn't true.  I believe everyone could use more yoga in their lives and offer a warm and inclusive welcome with absolutely

no pressure to be anything other than yourself. 

My goal isn’t to get you to some ‘advanced’ pose, or to see how many postures we can move through in a class.  My goal is to create an environment that fosters personal growth. A space where you feel empowered in the body and mind you bring to the mat, practising to the level that feels right for you, somewhere between effort and ease.

A regular yoga practice offers the mind and body so many benefits. These benefits include improved mobility and balance; toned muscles, strength and stamina; improved posture; relief from anxiety and low mood; relief from lower back and neck pain.   Incorporating breath with movement yoga is a wonderful tool for improving overall physical and mental health and well-being. 

So that my classes can be attended and enjoyed by all abilities (complete beginner, advanced, returning after a break) my approach to teaching is an inclusive one with a gentle step by step instruction providing knowledge and a safe well balanced session.
