About Me.
I am a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) teacher in the East Riding of Yorkshire. I have one to one teaching experience, over 25 years of personal practice, and a real passion and dedication to mental health and well-being. This passion developed further through a fifteen year career in Human Resources working with management information, analysing sickness absence, and equality, diversity & inclusion data. This gave me a real insight into the effects of workplace stress (anxiety, low mood, and depression) on both the individual and the organisation and how this can transfer into every day life. Having practised yoga for many years I am very aware of the positive effects it has on my own physical, mental and emotional health, helping me to keep perspective, find balance and deal with life’s challenges......
